"There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversites of activities, but it is the same God who works in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all." -- 1 Corinthians 12:5-7, HCSB
NWAL FCA and Local Churches work together! FCA Staff, Church Leaders, and volunteers work together in building relationships with one another. Every staff person and volunteer of FCA who work with the leaders in their home church can add significant outreach to both the church ministry and the FCA ministry. Many church leaders have noticed the positive peer influence FCA can have in our communities and schools.

Pastor Comments
“The leadership of FCA is dedicated to helping sports minded youth to stay balanced and to mature in society. The FCA can penetrate the lives of youth in a way that the organized local church has not been able. May God’s hand be upon this organization.” --Pastor Ted Vafeas, Highland Park Baptist Church, Muscle Shoals
"To me, FCA provides another open door connecting the school and the message of the church, which is the good news found only in Jesus Christ. And our students definitely need to hear some good news." --Pastor J.D. Harrison, First Baptist Church, Anderson
“God has greatly used FCA to sow the gospel seed in the lives of many students and student athletes at NWSCC. God provided a unique opportunity for Baptist Campus Ministry (BCM) and FCA to work together to share a weekly meal, provide guest speakers, and encourage & equip students to live out their faith." -- Kirk Bishop, BCM Minister, Northwest Shoals Community College, Associate Pastor/Students, Parkview Baptist Church, Tuscumbia Alabama
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes, to me, has been and still is today, one of the most effective ministries on our school campus and our community (Red Bay). The church is also effected by FCA as well. Students that have no church background or church family, this is a wonderful way to plug them into one of our local churches. -- David Corum, Spiritual Coordinator - Red Bay Football Program/Youth Pastor, Red Bay Free Will Baptist Church |
