At the heart of FCA are coaches. Our role is to minister to these men and women by encouraging and equipping them to know and serve Jesus Christ. FCA ministers to coaches through Bible studies, staff contacts, prayer support, discipleship and mentoring, Behind the Bench (a program for coaches wives), resources, outreach events, national and local conventions, conferences and retreats.

To empower and equip Christian athletic leaders to minister to coaches, helping them to live and coach with biblical principles through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Behind the Bench Behind the Bench is FCA’s ministry for coaches’ wives. Nine times a year, a Behind the Bench article is posted on the website as well as distributed through our magazine, Sharing the Victory. It includes stories that will encourage and challenge women to strengthen their relationships with Jesus Christ, articles that will help in dealing with pressures unique to the coaching profession and practical tips for daily living. VICTORY CONFERENCE CALLS
The Nations of Coaches ministry is excited about a twice monthly conference call for Christian coaches that was launched on April 15th, 2007. These Victory calls are designed to encourage and equip Christian coaches with a short Bible study or spiritual exhortation, followed by brief discussion, prayer requests and prayer. The calls will begin at 8 pm central time and will finish by 8:30 pm.
The Victory Calls will be held on the first and third Sunday each month. To take part in these free calls simply dial: 218-339-2444 then when asked, dial in the access code: 24267466 followed by # sign (This access code spells "champion").
"It is our hope that these calls will network Christian coaches, encourage and support them to be all that God has created them to be." says Tommy Kyle, Nations of Coaches, Decatur. "We have guest coaches and look forward to having Roger Boswell, North Alabama FCA Area Director on the show as well."
"Please make plans to call in at 8 pm central time," says Kyle. "You may take part in every conference call or just a few. Additionally, you may verbally participate in the call or simply listen in, it is up to you. . . we just want to be a support to you.
